Owner / Designer:

Mike has co-owned Ben White Florist with his brother Cliff for 25 years.  He enjoys Jazz music and equips the flower shop with any array of timeless jazz photos as well as a constant stream of music playing on the sound system.

Cliff is a certified Texas Master Florist and enjoys adding his own personal style to all the arrangements he does.  When not at the flower shop Cliff loves spending time with his wife and a favorite weekend hobby is wearing his cowboy boots and dutch oven cooking with his two teenage sons.

Debra has been with BWF since February of 2000. She has been a designer since '01 and became their main wedding designer in '06. Recently she has taken over weddings at the shop through her independent company Dsweetpeas Custom Floral Design. She loves working with flowers and creating unique, beautiful, and natural designs. Debra also teaches floral design at Austin Community College in their Certificate Program. Besides expressing her artistic flair in floral, Debra is also a dancer/performer with Ruby Rico Productions and has been trained in contemporary modern dance. She loves chocolate, animals, and Sunday brunch!!

Mari has been working in flower shops since 1996.  She  likes to work with flowers and plants which she LOVES.  She likes getting dirty while working with her hands.

Rachel joined Ben White Florist in April 2008 and began designing in 2009. Besides loving flowers and being totally awesome, she enjoys reading like crazy, watching tons of good (and bad) movies, and viewing well-scripted television shows. While not at work she can be found sipping on a cup of hot coffee with her partner, David, or taking her dog, Mortimer, on a walk. As an Indiana native, she misses intense thunderstorms, normal highway systems, and Kurt Vonnegut. So it goes.

Molly just recently joined the BWF crew in April 2008.  Molly is painfully close to finishing her Chemistry BS @ UT.  Her life in a nutshell can be describes as:

Loves to Party.

Muriell has been a CSR @ BWF since September '09.  She enjoys riding her bike, finding a good bead and nights filled with happy / sloppy dancing.

Nick aka: "Monkey" is an invaluable addition to the working machine that is BWF.  He comes in once, sometimes twice a week to process ALL of the incoming roses (and believe it there are A LOT!)  When not hard at work stripping, "petaling" and cutting the fragile commodity, Nick attends ACC and enjoys honing his ninja like skills at Aikido.

Hello all, Jessica here. I've been with BWF since February 2000. Since being hired I have run the gamut of job positions: customer service, designer, bookkeeper, and I'm the one that sends out our WEEKLY SPECIAL e-mails. I am so happy to work for such a talented group of people. 

Goldie is BWF's newest addtion.

Misty was born at the flowers shop many moons ago. She has grown into a very mature and experienced cat defending her property. Independent and private, Misty LOVES girls, (is a little wary of the men types) ,rolling around in the dirt and DOES NOT appreciate being picked up. You may catch her at our back door during feeding times or sunbathing on the concrete parking lot.
